Thank you for everyone who took the time to answer my questions from Friday. I am storing my shawl folded on a shelf, I found some great shawl pins like this sheep and pear, and I think I almost decided on a new shawl pattern- the Oaklet or the Multnomah. Thank you to Ally B. for that suggestion.
Now on to Hearts Knit Together. Thanks to Erin for the tutorial. We spent several hours on the porch making felted balls with the roving we dyed last week. Everyone had a great time until the baby tipped over the bowl off water all over his sister. In the end though, everyone was wet anyway. It took longer to get the balls to felt than I thought and only my daughter and me were able to be patient enough to make good thick balls. But the others had a lot of fun so that is all that matters. The boys have had fun throwing their balls around this evening (yeah they can't break anything!).
These were some of my favorite creations from the kids and I. I have big plans for the smaller balls I made...
