Knitting and Crochet Blog Week -- Wild Card
Topic of the Day: Craft Your Perfect Day
Knitting and Crochet Blog week was so fun I just didn't want it to end! Okay really I just wanted to post about my perfect craft day, the wild card for blog week, but I never got the chance to before. So I am extending knitting blog week for me.
My perfect craft day would start with a full Irish breakfast that I didn't have to make. No I am not Irish but I have been to Ireland and they know how to do breakfast! Then my husband would take the children out for the morning so I could sew in peace. I would work on a quilt for a bit then make another project bag for knitting and design another needle case.
Around lunch time I would meet my husband and children at Eisenhower Park in Orange, CA. All of my old homeschooling friends would be there. Dear husband would bring a lunch of Chinese takeout then watch the children while I knit away on my citron. (Apparently the food on my perfect craft day is really important.)
It is crucial that hubby be there so I don't have to worry about the children falling to their death off the equipment. I can just focus on visiting with old friends and knitting. Giving the children outdoor time and me knitting time would be perfect.
For my loyal readers you will recognize the citron photo from my WIP post. Sadly there was not enough progress made since then to justify a new photo.
I really need my perfect crafting day to become reality!Labels: 3KCBWWC, Knitting and Crochet Blog Week, shawls
