3KCBWDAY3 My Knitting Hero and a work in progress

Knit and Crochet Blog Week Day 3
Topic of the Day: Knitting Hero

Dear Sarah,
Did I ever tell you you're my hero? You're everything I wish I could be.
Beaches is one of my favorite movies so I just had to throw that line in there. But you are one of my knitting heroes.

Remember when you tried to teach me how to knit? I wasn't a very good student. I went back to crochet and ended up crocheting that hideous, cheap orange yarn I bought into an uneven scarf and it turned my skin orange. I have better taste in yarn now. And it took two people trying to teach me and finally a book for me to learn to knit.

Anyway here is why you are my hero:

You inspire me to frog back my work and make it perfect, to take on new patterns and skills with confidence, and to manage my time better. Thank you.

Love,
your sister-in-law

P.S. I know you are creating amazing things right now. Do you ever think about updating your blog with pictures of them? :)

And for you visiting from WIP Wednesday, Yarn Along, and Keep Calm Craft On--- it wouldn't be Wednesday if I didn't post a work in progress. Sadly not much personal reading has been going on here with blog week keeping me busy. But I read this great book to the girls tonight. I love Robert  McCloskey.  And I am plugging away on another charity pull over. Two is probably all that I will finish before Mother's Day.
