More Important Things

Sometimes things happen that remind you of what is most important in life. A year ago my friend lost her three year son who was healthy one day and gone just a few days later. Such a tragedy makes you want to gather your little ones near and tell them how much you love them. We remembered Keller's life with a balloon send off to heaven this week. It has been a long year for his parents. We wanted to do something special to keep his memory alive. It was a wonderful opportunity for me to be with my children and to help them understand God's plan for us does not end in this life. Through tragedies, like this, we can rely on our Heavenly Father to comfort us. He knows what He is doing, to refine us into the beings He needs us to be, here and in the here after. How grateful I am to know that.
