Did you know Aviatrix is a female Aviator? I just learned that so I had to change the name of this hat, since it is for my little man, Roman. I love how it turned out, especially how great the little leather button looks on it. I am not sure where it came from. I found it in my button stash. Probably my mother-in-law purchased it at garage sale. She is a big garage saler/thrifter and brings me lots of treasures.
One thing I love about knitting is how accomplished you feel when you learn something new. I can now do short rows with the wrap and turn technique. And am on to another technique (K4B) in the Cloisonee mitten pattern.Labels: hats
