DH brought me this sweater after he decided he was not going to wear it anymore. He thought the wool could be perfect for another project but was not sure what it should be reincarnated into the second time around. I read a great tutorial about how to take a sweater apart and quickly did both sleeves. A few days later I returned home from work to find that he had taken the rest of the sweater apart! So
much work, what a great guy! I made the blue yarn into skeins and washed it, getting 82 yards of blue wool. I have yet to do the gray. But no hurry because DH has not picked a project yet for me. (And no I did not make his sweater originally-- it was JCrew-- it wouldn't have been so sweet of him if I had knit it for him!)Labels: sweater
