Knitting a stockinette scarf in a tube in a beast. It takes forever and is incredibly boring. My oldest daughter is a crazy Harry Potter fan and I thought she would love this. She was Ginny Weasley for Halloween but like most of my knitting gifts it was not done on time (I finished the tie though so I was not a complete failure). She got a New Year's Eve gift instead. I made it with Cascade 220 and I love how it turned out. It is so warm and soft. And you know what...she does not wear it. I try not to care too much. Just sitting on her desk chair it still looks pretty.
The gryffin was my first attempt at intarsia. this tutorial that was super helpful. It took time but doesn't it look so cool!?Labels: Intarsia
